  1. Which VPN did you use?

  2. You can log with your normal IP (located in the US) afterward, that’s not a problem at all 🙂

  3. Hi,

They have a rating of 4.7/5 on TrustPilot so I don’t see how it doesn’t help.

If you need a throughout analysis, don’t hesitate to check our ExpressVPN review here : https://the-bestvpn.com/review-expressvpn/

  4. Hi Vincent

    1) Yes ! Even if you have 10 devices connected to your router (with CyberGhost configured on it), it will count for 1 device
    2) If you try to use the VPN on your smartphone while being connected to your router (which is also using the VPN), it won’t work. Anyway, you don’t need to activate the VPN on your smartphone when you’re at home (as you will be protected through the router). Just use it when you leave the house 😉

  5. You mean NordVPN ?

Just try a few servers located in the US and make sure to close/reopen Hallmark website after that (you can even clean your cache to be sure).

  6. Hi Daniel,

I can’t promise you anything but we will add it to our to-do list for sure.

We’ve reviewed more than 100+ VPNs to date so it’s pretty hard to test them all more than once a year.

  7. Hi Max,

By changing your IP (and by encrypting your Internet traffic, one goes with the other), you will make yourself “invisible” on the Internet but above all, hide from your ISP, all the details of the sites you will visit.

In addition, this will allow you to change your location in order to, for example, bypass censorship, bypass certain geo-blocks …

  8. Hi Allan,

Unfortunately, it will not exempt you from paying a subscription to Sky Sport (if you do not already have one)

But if you want to avoid paying a subscription to such a channel, do not hesitate to use one of the free TV channels that we were able to present in our article devoted to F1 : https://the-bestvpn.com/formula-1-streaming/

  9. If the VPN provider you’re using does not have any leak the answer is : YES

To check it out, you should go on a site like ipleak.net

Those offering the most guarantees at this level are ExpressVPN and NordVPN

  10. It is ! Surfshark has been founded in 2018.

And for its price, the service is very good. If you want to try it without conditions, just use their money-back guarantee

  11. Hello,

We are very happy to have been able to help you in your choice.

    Cheers!

  12. You may encounter some problems when using it in China. To counter this, it will be necessary to test the different protocols offered.

And if you want to be guaranteed to have a VPN that will work 100% in China, I advise you to turn to ExpressVPN and NordVPN instead.

Those are the two references at present to circumvent Chinese censorship

  13. Hi,

IPVanish is indeed far from being the fastest VPN out there. But it’s definitely not because the provider only has 1000+ servers. It’s more a question of network quality for me.

  14. Hi Foryou,

I’m glad you are asking as we’ve done that not too long ago. You can find our complete guide on how to install and setup a VPN on your phone right here : https://the-bestvpn.com/setup-your-vpn/

I hope it will help you 😉

  15. Hi,

I can confirm, all the above is indeed correct. Even the fact that some companies may reject a message coming from an IP address they have no record of. But it’s very unlikely to be honest 😉

  16. Yes you can, there are no limits. You can install CyberGhost on 10, 20 or 30 different devices. The only thing is that the maximum number of simultaneous connections is blocked at 7 (which is more than enough in the case you described).

    Regards, Quentin

  17. Hi Matt,

You’re very luck as we have an article that will help you to install your VPN on iPhone : https://the-bestvpn.com/setup-your-vpn/

Regarding your other question, choose a server that is not overused (most providers give you some numbers about their usage). And in the case you choose ExpressVPN, you will have a speedtest function integrated in your app that will tell you which server is the best in every country.

I hope this help you 😉

  18. I suggest you opt for CyberGhost because there is a promotion on its 1 year subscription! (33$ / 2.75$/month)

No promo code is necessary to benefit from it.

Otherwise if you want an even cheaper offer (but a little less efficient), Surfshark also has an offer right now (promo code: sharkholidays19)

  19. Hi Fabio,

Have you searched for ExpressVPN, CyberGhost or NordVPN ? Cause they’re all supporting iOS version 8 and more (which you could perfectly use on your iPhone 5C).

Please let me know if you found some of the names listed.

  20. Hello Vince,

You’re completely right. There are not so many differences between VPN solutions on Mac and Windows.

But sometimes, you can still find some. For example, you won’t have access to OpenVPN protocol on the NordVPN MacOS app (yet you will have access to it with the Windows version).

I hope I answered your question,
    Quentin

  21. Hi Arley,

What kind of error are you getting ? After some tests on our side, everything seems fine.

Please let us know and don’t hesitate to directly contact the support of NordVPN for more help ! 😉

  22. Hi Jack,

If you’re really worried about your security online, you should consider ExpressVPN or NordVPN. These 2 are the best options to stay anonymous while doing all type of activities (streaming, P2P, browsing…).

Both of them are engaged to a very clear no-log policy, which is a good news for all of their users.

  23. Hello,

It really depends on your budget. But you can consider the 3 offers we listed at the beginning of our IPVanish review.

ExpressVPN is the best alternative, thats for sure. But it can be a little bit expensive. Other options are CyberGhost and NordVPN, which are not as good as ExpressVPN… but they offer a really good value.

    Hope it helps 😉

  24. Hi Cory,

It depends of what you want and need. If for example you want to gain access to US Netflix catalog while abroad (in the case you’re from the United States), it can only be done thanks to a VPN.

Maybe you could message us to let us know what are your actual needs. By doing that, we will be able to respond more precisely.

    Regards,
    Quentin

  25. Hi,

2 days ago we’ve got a feedback from one of our reader stating that NordVPN was perfectly working in China. But you have to know that you will have to change the protocol used to have it working (do not use OpenVPN).

    Hope it helps !

  26. Hi Mumsman,

To be completely honest, after testing more than 40 different providers I can assure you that CyberGhost is a good choice to protect your privacy online.

It’s not all about marketing here. The service is really good overall.

    Regards,
    Quentin

  27. Hi Kelsey,

I only know one computer that comes with a VPN. It’s the new HP Spectre x360 13 which is including the ExpressVPN application with a 30-day trial.

But to be completely honest with you, it’s not very hard to install a VPN. You don’t have to configure anything most of the time. Plus you can find tutorials and videos helping you during the process 😉

If you still have questions, please let us know.

    Quentin

  28. Yes, all the VPN reviewed are tested by our team of experts.

Regarding your choice, you should focus on knowing what you want to do with a VPN. When you’ve managed to determine your needs, just pick the best one from our lists (if you want to watch content, download, be secure…)

  29. Hi,

If you only connect to internet through your phone, you don’t have to use the VPN app on the two devices. One is enough !

I would personaly recommend ExpressVPN but if you don’t have $6/month to spend, you should definitely go for CyberGhost. Either way, you’re gonna be fine 😉

  30. Hi Jonas,

I’m sorry to hear that you have problems with ExpressVPN. Unfortunately, I cannot help you because as I’m not able to reproduce the behavior described.

I advise you to contact ExpressVPN customer support to get help worthy of the name … and find a viable solution!

  31. Hello Mick,

After some researchs, I found out that only a few persons (less than 10) got fined in France because of the legislation (which is in place for more than 10 years).

But with a VPN, you will not have to be concerned about this as your real IP will be hidden. To better understand the process, I encourage you to read again our infographic 😉

Basically you re-route your internet trafic through a VPN server. So your IP address is changed for the one of the server.

  32. Hello,

I respect your opinon. But just for the fact that we are being spyied more and more on the Internet, you should definitely consider using a VPN.

To see more advantages of VPNs, i recommend you to search for our article “Why should I use a VPN? The main 5 reasons explained”
